The Artisan 15 has 2 channels, each with a different set of tubes in the preamp section. Channel 1 has two ECC83 tubes, giving you the classic tube amp sound and feel that everyone loves. With an EZ81 tube rectifier and two EL84 tubes in the power section, cranking up the volume yields glorious classic rock sounds!

Channel 2 features two EF86 tubes, like those found in much-revered Class A British amps; which gives you that rich, compressed, yet harmonic distortion. Each channel also has Hi and Lo inputs, so you can choose the right amount of gain on tap, depending on your guitar's pickups or preferred sound.

You can also switch between triode (5 watts) and pentode (15 watts) modes.Triode mode gives you a warm, round tone. Pentode mode gives you a dynamic sound with more punch; best with the volume up!

You can also jumper the two channels for more gain and more tonal possibilities. With only Volume and Tone controls on each channel, getting your dream tone is so easy. This amp is so responsive that you can control the gain and volume with just your playing dynamics or your guitar's volume knob.
