Description

The Santoku Knife is a multifunctional item. It is made for chopping vegetables, thin slicing, and cutting fish and meat. The scalloped indentations make this knife easy to use by creating air pockets between the blade and food, ensuring nothing sticks to the blade. HATTORI series consists of knives made of Japanese steel 420J2. It was developed for the goods used in high humidity conditions. Stainless steel 420J2 is strong and durable, hardened up to HRC 53+/-2 on the Rockwell scale. Full-tang construction helps to achieve additional strength for the knives. Each item has stainless steel bolster for a perfect knife balance. The hand-hammered finishing makes the knife a special and functional craft. This surface eliminates friction and prevents food from sticking to the blade. The ergonomic polypropylene handle is fixed by 3 rivets properly. The handle withstands sliding and provides safe use thanks to matt finishing. All details of the knives are manually adjusted, which guarantees high reliability and hygiene. Knife blades stay flawlessly sharp, treated at the optimal angle.
