Instructions

Your rabbit should have sufficient food available throughout the day because its gastrointestinal tract must always be filled. Due to the palatability of the food, your rabbit will immediately accept it. In the beginning, however, it is advisable to closely monitor the nutritional intake and possibly mix XtraVital with the old food. The daily amount of food depends on the size and weight of your rabbit. Give the amount of food that the rabbit completely eats in 1 day. If food remains, give slightly less the next day. Repeat until the ideal amount is found. A general guideline of the average amount of food per day: Small/mini-Pooltje, Dutch Dwarf: ± 60 grams, Dutch Dwarf Lop: ± 85 grams, Rex: ± 115 grams, Giant rabbit (French Lop, Flemish Giant, Belgian Hare): ± 170-450 grams, English Giant: ± 340-450 grams. Provide fresh feed, unlimited hay, and fresh and clean drinking water every day.
