As the name suggests, it can make any clean amp go crazy with its tube amp-style high gain overdrive capabilities! The Drive Me Crazy also has a wide gain range, so you can use it for anything; from bluesy breakup to 80s shred to liquid fusion. The 3-way Character switch also lets you select one from three tonal characters:
THIN: A bright setting; great for brightening up warm pickups
NORMAL: Flat response; a good base tone for all applications
DEEP: Boost bass frequencies for a heavy sound. Also good for maintaining low end when you have a long signal chain.
As the EBS Drive Me Crazy pedal is also optimized for bass guitar, this overdrive would also definitely suit 7-string and 8-string guitar players!
