- Wash this piece with hot, soapy water
- It is not advisable to insert any object into the valve opening to clean it. This may tear or stretch the part resulting in poor suction.
- Valves need to be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks if you are exclusively pumping. If you are pumping a few times per day (3 pumps or less), then you may be able to go as many as 2 months before replacing them.
