Description
Packing 20 watts of tube-driven power, and hosting an army of practical features for the working guitarist, the Blackstar HT-20R MkII Combo Tube Amp could just be one of the best solutions for rehearsals, recording, home practice, or even club gigs!
With two ECC83 tubes in the preamp and two EL84 tubes in the power amp, you get that warm, organic sound that you expect from a genuine tube amp. Also new with the Mark II series is the Voice switch for the Clean and Overdrive channels. In the Clean channel, Voice 1 gives that glassy American clean sound. Voice 2 gives you that jangly, edge-of-breakup vintage British amp sound.
The Voice Switch also does wonders for the Overdrive channel. Go from a roaring British stack sound to a more modern, preamp-boosted distortion with a push of a button. As always, the ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) control lets you dial in the precise response of the amp sound that you wish to emulate.
Stompbox geeks will appreciate its transparent effects loop. Built-in Reverb is there for straight-to-amp axemen. The Power Reduction feature also lets you bring down the power to 2 watts, so you can still crank up the glowing tubes for awesome tone, but without blasting the neighbor's ears or yours. The built-in USB audio output is also handy for quick recording setup.
